Westover, PA—Family favorite Rickschilds Family Business (WB) is set to continue its expansion with the purchase of the Westover Family Restaurant and the purchase and remodeling of the neighboring Westover Village.
The business, which was founded by Ricksdale and her sister-in-law Betty, has been expanding at a rapid rate for decades, and now has more than 2,200 locations in the U.S. and Canada.
The purchase of Westover will provide the company with a location in a new location that will allow them to continue to grow their business.
According to WB’s press release, the purchase is expected to close in the first quarter of 2019, which will provide WB with the flexibility to expand their business even further, as well as provide a long-term investment for the future.WB President and CEO Joe Ricksdales told the outlet that the purchase represents a major step forward for the family-owned business, adding, “This acquisition will allow us to continue the growth we have seen at this location, and create a stronger, better family business for generations to come.”
The new restaurant will be located at 725 Main St. in Westover and will open in the fall of 2019.
